Responsibilities:
Client Experience and Relationship Management:
- Act as the internal client advocate and leader, balancing and driving both client and Thermo Fisher Scientific's requirements.
- Develop and manage business relationships with key accounts, understanding client organizations and their needs.
- Ensure service levels meet expectations and manage information flow to align with client requirements.
- Lead client Voice of Customer (VOC) engagement programs and handle customer issues effectively.
- Facilitate teleconferences and Business Review meetings, ensuring compliance with agreements.
Quotations and Supply Agreements:
- Understand the quotations process and prepare commercial proposals.
- Represent site interests in negotiations and manage quality agreements, assessing their commercial impact.
- Generate and negotiate quotations for technical changes and additional services.
New Business Development:
- Leverage existing customer relationships to identify new business opportunities.
- Partner with Sales to assess and implement opportunities for growth.
- Promote site capabilities and manage customer visits.
Technical Excellence:
- Oversees technology transfer projects to ensure flawless, timely launches.
- Works closely with project managers to assume control of tech transfer projects upon validation.
- Provide technical solutions to clients, contributing to process robustness and business improvements.
- Participate in Lean and Six Sigma projects, representing Business Management in process improvement teams.
Financial and Forecast Management:
- Ensure accurate client forecasts in S&OP process and assist in developing annual revenue budgets.
- Analyze market intelligence to build demand and business plans.
- Requests and implements pricing updates including annual pricing reviews, technical changes, etc. in compliance with MSA terms
- Maintain and track monthly revenue forecasts, ensuring project profitability.
- Works with Finance to raise collection of overdue invoices, resolves root issues, and in general understands client’s financial processes.
- Understands and implements the key milestones identified in the client contracts including pricing, payment terms, term of contract, yield reconciliation, etc.,
- Ensures all projects achieve appropriate profit margins, through the request, analysis and recommendation of existing and new project pricing and proposal strategies for commercial projects for the site.
Required qualifications
Education:
University Degree in Engineering, Science, Finance and/or Business or equivalent experience required. MBA desired.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of related experience in project management, account management, sales, or marketing with client-facing responsibilities. Preferably in Pharmaceutical or Contract Manufacturing.
Equivalency:
Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.
