What you will do:

The Technology Spend Management (TSM) team supports the Johnson Controls’ IT spend and contract management process and tool, and provides related services, including contingent resource management and purchasing order creation. The TSM team also plays a vital role in preserving IT spend records, facilitating IT spend analysis, and managing IT vendor relationship.

How you will do it:

  • The role demands flexibility, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, project management capabilities, analytical skills, and effective meeting facilitation. A customer-focused mindset and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment are important.
  • Contract review, ability to coordinate incoming contracts for review and triage
  • Ensuring SLA’s are meet for TSM requests and PR submissions
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships and partnerships with IT vendors and customers
  • Coordinate all tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees
  • Manage the technology spend management process upon requests, involving key stakeholders to ensure global integration and alignment with business objectives. Communicate the process globally and regionally
  • Establish new processes around spend management, contract management, vendor analysis, vendor/contractor selection and vendor/contractor transition

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with Finance or Procurement discipline or equivalent experience
  • Preferred experience working within the Johnson Controls (JCI) framework, and various purchase ordering systems
  • Working experience with procurement related processes
  • Experience of working in medium to large-sized businesses in a global capacity
  • Multi-language capabilities. English is a must
  • Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves to get things done in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and consultants at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Strong analytical and project prioritization skills for effective workload management
