What You Will Do:

• Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of key S&T business performance metrics.

• Management and analysis of critical business data (e.g., customer consumption, storage inventory positions, utility gas supplies, operational activity, weather forecasts, commodity pricing, and value of various S&T services).

• Support strategic business decisions (e.g., S&T optimization activities, operational planning, utility gas supply planning, annual S&T revenue forecast and budget processes).

• Maintain working knowledge of related regulated and unregulated services.

• Support the development of rate setting and deferral and variance account disposition evidence filed with the Ontario Energy Board.

• Communicate optimally and work collaboratively with leaders and peers vertically and across the organization.

• Support various S&T or UFG related cross-functional projects and investigations.

Who You Are:

• A university degree along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. Applicants without a degree need at least three more years of related experience.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment – self-motivated.

• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.

• Demonstrated financial acumen.

Preferred:

• Minimum 2 years of natural gas industry related experience.

• Some understanding of natural gas market dynamics.

• Ability to quickly learn information technology systems.

• Proven ability to work under and to meet deadlines.

• Working knowledge of PC applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Web browsers) required.
