What you’ll be doing
As a Consultant, Risk Analytics, you will be responsible for data-driven recommendations and strategies of unsecured new credit strategies for our Simplii portfolio. These strategies will be data and policy driven which will result in improved application approval rates and/or reduced charge offs. You will frequently liaise with other departments to establish collaborative relationships, provide expertise, and communicate research results.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You will have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you will spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.
How you’ll succeed
Statistical Analysis - Independently support and perform moderately complex statistical analyses using advanced analytical methods and data mining tools; leveraging new technologies of ML and AI.
Portfolio Support - Support opportunities within the delinquent portfolio operations where analytical techniques can be effectively applied to achieve core business objectives.
Manage Frameworks - Create and support analytical frameworks that enable deployment of innovative analytical solutions; enhancing suite of analytical capabilities to drive meaningful change.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience in working with SAS (Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Miner) or similar analytical tools (i.e. SQL, Python, R, Tableau), databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. You are familiar with best practices in statistical methodologies and innovative analytical tools, and can leverage this knowledge to enhance delinquent portfolio management strategies.
