The Senior Analyst supports the People Analytics and Insights team by performing foundational data analysis, maintaining workforce datasets, generating insights, and enabling HR and business stakeholders with high-quality reporting and dashboards to improve the effectiveness of workforce planning and strategic initiatives.
Dashboarding, Reporting, and Data Visualization
Analyze HR and workforce data to identify trends and opportunities.
Develops scorecards, dashboards, and reports that effectively depict workforce metrics in a concise and actionable manner.
Prepare datasets for forecasting headcount, hiring, turnover, and payroll.
Support development and maintenance of workforce planning templates and documentation.
Conduct data quality checks, support reconciliations, and document issues.
Data Analysis, Insights, and Research
Collects and synthesizes large data sets, carries out quantitative and qualitative analysis, and interprets and draws conclusions resulting from the information reviewed.
Prepare data for forecasting models related to headcount, turnover, hiring, and payroll expense.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc analytics deliverables for HRBPs, COEs, and business leaders.
Produces reports and utilizes them to perform data analyses to be summarized into key findings for customers
Provide guidance to HR partners on dashboard usage and data interpretation.
Communicates data to key stakeholders to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations.
Process Improvement & Data Governance
Identifies opportunities to automate / streamline reports, and redesign reports to include these efficiencies.
Troubleshoot reporting and data issues.
Monitor workforce data quality across systems and support discrepancy resolution.
Advanced Degree in Statistics, I/O psychology or other quantitative social science field and 1+ years of experience in a people analytics or similar role or 4+ years of experience in people analytics or similar role with a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, I/O psychology or other quantitative social science field.
Strong quantitative skills and proficiency with analytical and data visualization tools such as SQL, R, Python, SPSS, STATA, Minitab or Power BI.
Analytical and curious thinking style with passion for problem solving and telling compelling stories using data.
Ability to define problems and manage projects in a fast-paced organization.
Ability to translate data into clear, relevant insights and communicate results to audiences at all levels of technical expertise.
Demonstrated strengths in collaboration and influencing skills and ability to anticipate problems and opportunities.
Experience creating compelling and intuitive data visualizations and presentations.
Great attention to detail and ability to deliver exceptional quality in reports and data analysis.
Working experience with HCM platforms such as Workday, ADP, and Degreed.
Ability to interpret workforce data.
Proficiency in data visualization and dashboards.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
4+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in healthcare data analytics or business intelligence.
