Job Responsibilities
Looking for Developer in ETL team having strong hands-on experience in Informatica On-Prem and Informatica Cloud. Candidate will be responsible for leading complex ETL projects while working closely with US partner. Candidate should be comfortable with new technologies like AWS and be adaptable to changing market strategy. Attention to detail is a critical requirement of the role, as is a highly communicative, amicable and mature demeanor in supporting the development and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
< >Lead and guide development of an Informatica based ETL architecture.Develop solution in highly demanding environment and provide hands on guidance to other team members.Head complex ETL requirements and design.Implement an Informatica based ETL solution fulfilling stringent performance requirements.Work closely with customers, business analysts and technology & project team to understand business requirements, drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that are aligned with business and technology strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.Determine if requirements are actionable for ETL team.Conduct impact assessment and determine size of effort based on requirements.Provide support to Project Manager in developing full SDLC project plans to implement ETL solution.Identify, recommend and implement ETL process and architecture improvements.Assist and verify design of solution and production of all design phase deliverables and documentation.Manage build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to ETL architecture.Resolve difficult design and develop issues.Performance Tuning of ETL code.Identify bugs when developers are not able to do so.Understand and follow-up through change management procedures to implement project deliverables.Coordinating with support groups such as DBA, Unix, Informatica admins to get the issues resolved in a quick turnaround time.Ability to mentor team members and promote and champion best practice in ETL development techniques.Working in Onshore/Offshore model.
Required Qualifications
< >Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience.3 to 7 years of experience with Informatica Power Center , IDMC on Data Warehousing or Data Integration projects.Expert with data warehousing standards, strategies and tools.Expert with SDLC processes.Experience in Informatica Power exchange for Mainframe, Salesforce and other new age data sources.Experience in Informatica Webservices, XML, Java Transformations etc.Strong knowledge of relational database preferably ORACLE and SQL Server.Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX shell scripting.Strong SQL background.Strong problem-solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.Good written and verbal communication skills.Experience working with US or other international customers.Demonstrated experience of leading a team spread across multiple locations.
Preferred Qualifications
< >AWS Cloud Knowledge, EC2, S3, AWS Glue ETL.TWS/Tidal scheduler hands-on experience.BFSI domain knowledge.Good to have experience in Informatica Cloud.
