SQL Developer - Development Support Specialist

Within a dedicated and professional team, you will work as a specialist in SQL maintenance and SSRS report development for our Ariel software solution. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing SQL tools, as well as developing and modifying the SSRS reports required for the various documents produced for the administration of our clients’ pension plans. Your responsibilities will allow you to make daily use of your analytical skills and to continue learning in a stimulating environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and respond to requests related to our systems from various internal client teams

  • Design and produce reports and data extracts

  • Develop and maintain various tools and applications

  • Ensure quality control and data integrity of our databases

  • Implement and maintain required regression tests when changes are made

  • Write procedures and/or documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • College or university degree in computer science

  • 4 years of relevant experience, or knowledge of pension plans (considered an asset)

  • Strong knowledge of SQL tools, including SSRS

  • Knowledge of C#, VBA, and C is considered an asset

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work well in a team while also being autonomous

  • Bilingualism - Intermediate knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its international scope.
