SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Specification Manager you will be responsible to manage specifications in an assigned segments by initiating, monitoring, and following all major projects / Key customers to identify and penetrate strategic markets and ensure that Jotun is favorably specified and is the preferred paint supplier for all targeted projects.Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key upstream stakeholders, including project owners, consultants, architects, and developers, to influence specifications at early project stages and secure long-term business opportunities
Lead, manage, and coach the specification team by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment with company strategy and project priorities conducting regular performance reviews and feedback sessions, fostering continuous team development and high performance.
Drive specification activities by identifying, mapping, and targeting key projects, ensuring company products are specified, approved, and positioned for successful conversion into sales along with manage and coordinate project tender processes, ensuring timely preparation, accurate technical and commercial submissions, and competitive positioning to maximize win rates.
Collaborate closely with the sales team by sharing project intelligence, specification updates, and pipeline insights to ensure alignment, effective follow-up, and successful project conversion and support sales target achievement by securing specifications.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming opportunities to maintain a robust and up-to-date project pipeline, enabling proactive decision-making and business growth along with analyze construction and coatings industry dynamics, leveraging insights to strengthen market positioning and promote the company’s solutions as the preferred project's partner.
Build and expand a strong professional network within the construction sector, including consultants, designers, and project specifiers, to influence decision-makers and drive specification approvals.

We are looking for:
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Sales and Marketing / Architecture or business development.
5-7 years of leadership experience in Specification, Projects Sales from building & construction industry.
Fluent in English & Arabic.
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
