This role will be part of ROHQ Manila - RO Finance Operations (ROFO).

Preferred skills (heading) / Compétences particulières (titre)

  • Knowledge about the operations of accounting systems (e.g., SAP)

  • Computer skills particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Working knowledge with automation and AI tools is a big advantage.

  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong stakeholder management skills

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English

  • Capable of multitasking and working in multi-cultural and matrix environment

Qualifications (heading) / Compétences (titre)

  • University graduate in Finance, Accounting and Business Administration or related disciplines.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial reporting

  • Experience in insurance, asset management, financial institution or shared services is an advantage

  • CPA is a must

  • Experience in liaising with internal and external auditors is required

Responsibilities (heading) / Responsabilités (titre)

  • Perform daily bookkeeping operations from data capture, data entries, account reconciliation to financial reporting necessary for management reporting and analysis. Ensure completion of Trial Balance and Financial Statements and disclosures, in accordance with the reporting timeline set by RO Asia Finance.

  • Prepare and issue service billings to business units with sufficient supporting documents in a timely manner and ensure timely collection thereof. 

  • Help FR Head liaise and coordinate with internal auditors, external auditors and tax advisors for audit and regulatory compliance.

  • Complete corporate reportorial requirements based on the timetable set by SL Corporate Finance and SL Asia Finance. 

  • Implement internal control over financial reporting to ensure financial records’ accuracy, completeness, and reliability. Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure financial records are properly substantiated.

  • Assist FR head / ROFO Head execute process improvements, drive automation projects and embed AI tools that will bring operational efficiency to the Team.
