S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) is seeking a Specialist to support the Credit Solutions Market Development team, focused on RatingsXpress. RatingsXpress is the flagship data distribution product for S&P Global Ratings’ credit ratings and related content. RatingsXpress is part of the Credit Solutions product suite, which also includes RatingsDirect and CreditPro. The Specialist will also provide secondary support for these products.
The Specialist will support the head of pricing for RatingsXpress and senior team members as needed, serving the following customer segments: Investment Management, Investment Banking, Insurance, Commercial Banking, and Non-Financial Corporates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the RatingsXpress pricing function. This requires a comprehensive understanding of our pricing and contracting framework, our clients’ workflows and use cases, as well as the ability to find solutions to business problems.
This position provides the opportunity to work in a critical function of the Credit Solutions business. You will work across business groups including market development, product management, commercial and operations. You will have the ability to surface actionable insights through the analysis of data and leverage technology to improve existing processes.
Responsibilities and Impact:
This position will support the growth of the Credit Solutions business. The Specialist will help grow the business through the application of consistent and appropriate pricing as well as drive efficiency in the sales process. Business intelligence projects will identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of value realization as well as surface insights to drive business policy.
Assist in providing research & analysis support to Product Management
Help manage internal business workflows and streamline processes
Support the maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancement of organization’s systems and applications
Facilitate pricing analysis, pricing enhancements and pricing approvals
Responsible for documenting and ensuring pricing conforms to the organization’s objective
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required (preference for background in finance, business, economics or related subject)
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM databases (preferred 1-2 years relevant experience)
Basic knowledge of finance, financial markets and our company
Willing to work varying shifts
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detailed oriented and possesses strong critical thinking skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to synthesize information for presentation to senior management.
