We are looking for a talent who has both production planner and buyer experiences. The Production Planner/Buyer prioritizes sales orders to create and implement a weekly production schedule consistent with the plant capacity and sales forecast. Production Planner ensures that all materials and resources are available to fulfill customer orders in the most cost effective and efficient manner. For a Buyer, the role will be responsible for maximizing direct materials availability and proactively optimize inventory level to meet the organization goal. This role will work closely with internal key stakeholders to drive raw material On Time in Full delivery to meet the dynamic demand of manufacturing in plant.
In this role you will:

1. Generate twelve weekly rolling production schedules for finished goods and intermediates based on demand, capacity, and raw material availability.
2. Work with the shop floor team to drive schedule adherence by maintaining accurate production start dates while taking into consideration resource constraints.
3. Review rush batches for orders requested inside the standard production lead time and provide updated commitments to customer service.
4. Identify batch sizes for optimization to ensure production is in sync with demand.
5. Provide weekly rolling production schedules to support Pilot Plant production for LVM products and NPI products.
6. Work with customer facing team to monitor customer safety stock level and manage safety stock level to fulfill customer expectation.
7. Review semi-finish goods material (abrasives) inventory against present and anticipated demand and engage central planning and purchasing team when necessary.
8. Participate in weekly cross-functional production planning meetings.
9. Liaison point to factory (operations/planning) for raw materials requirements/availability.
10. Co-ordinate with plant operations to meet any demand changes and proactively highlight material shortages and recovery plan to mitigate any supply gap.
11. Partner with commodity teams to jointly align on fulfillment strategy with key suppliers.
12. Act as first level escalation for buyers on material gaps and analyze the revenue impact.
13. Lead material shortage escalation meetings (with Commodity/DBP) which need urgent attention a and put in place action for resolution.
14. Report supply gap status back to leadership including division operations and BU.
15. Accountable for inventory optimization and drive various strategies to meet Division goals.
16. Review safety stock and service level in alignment with division inventory policy.
17. Provide rolling forecast to strategic suppliers (synchronize with commodity) to prepare raw materials and resources ahead to support Entegris demand.
18. Support cost savings milestones and initiatives.
19. Create and manage standard purchase orders (PO), outline agreements in SAP to approved vendors (under Global AVL) to optimize inventory.
20. If assigned to handle suppliers who are contract manufacturers: Work with respective stakeholders to ensure the availability of finished goods and to work on resolution when there are any supply issues.

1. B.A. / B.S. degree in Supply Chain Planning or 3+ years of work experience.
2.Technical
(1) Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, purchasing, and replenishment processes.
(2) Strong systems / process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
(3) Proficient in MS office applications.
(4) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
(5) Strong SAP knowledge to drive towards high master data integrity and improve material planning.
(6) Able to make use of PBI, BW, SAP report to make data driven decisions.
(7) Understand business requirements and work with material Manager and SCM to develop supply chain strategies.
(8) Experience scheduling and/or planning in a low volume / high mix manufacturing operation is desire.
