Overview

The Consumer Credit team is looking for a Specialist, Consumer Credit Product Management to build differentiated products with unique value propositions that meets the needs of our cardholders to grow the Consumer Credit business The ideal candidate will play an important role in executing this vision, ensuring Mastercard remains competitive by optimizing credit performance, supporting issuer relationships, and driving business development. This role will work closely with internal Issuer Account Management teams and external partners to enhance Mastercard’s credit offerings and drive growth in a dynamic market.

Role

• Serve as a key point of contact for internal partners, providing both strategic and operational support to account managers and customers. Responsibilities include leading business reviews, driving strategic engagement, supporting product development initiatives, and monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize credit usage and spend, delivering thought leadership and actionable insights while supporting the team’s strategic vision to advance Mastercard credit products and benefits.
• Develop and deliver customized presentations and programs that support meaningful business development opportunities and strengthen client engagement.
• Monitor and analyze key credit performance metrics, supporting internal and external business reviews, forecasting, and budget planning exercises.
• Evaluate transaction trends and data to identify opportunities for optimization, growth, and improved customer value.
• Partner with issuers and processors to gather feedback, address inquiries, and help inform ongoing product strategy and enhancements.
• Stay current on industry regulations, compliance standards, and market developments to ensure Mastercard solutions remain aligned with evolving industry requirements.
• Manage and advance pipeline opportunities, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to drive efficiency and unlock new opportunities with customers.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
