The Product team is the connecting tissue within the Accelya organisation that ensures we make the right product investments and extensively collaborates across the organisation to ensure we best serve our customers.

Job purpose

As a Product Manager, you are responsible for defining and prioritizing the Program Backlog and ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You work at the Program Level and collaborate with Product Owners, Technology teams, Business Owners, and Customers to deliver value.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Define and maintain the Program Vision, Roadmap, and Program Backlog
Collaborate with Business Owners and Customers to understand market needs and define Epics, Features, and Business Value
Prioritize Features using SAFe prioritization techniques
Participating in Program Increment (PI) Planning, presenting vision and backlog to the Agile Development Teams.
Collaborate with Architects, Development, and System Teams to ensure technical feasibility and architectural alignment
Work closely with Product Owners to decompose Features into actionable Stories
Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback for continuous product improvement
Define and track KPIs and Business Case outcomes
Present roadmap updates and progress to key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
Participate in RFP responses and contribute to building a compelling, winnable bid
Assist Go to Market & Marketing teams to position the product effectively in the industry

Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

Deep understanding of SAFe principles
Strong market orientation and customer focus
Ability to prioritize for maximum economic benefit
Experience with road mapping, budgeting, and product lifecycle management
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and leadership
Familiarity with tools like Aha, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile/SAFe tools
Experience in platform/API solutions along with business user front ends.
Strong understanding of the airline domain and industry-specific workflows
Strategic thinking and decision-making
Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Adaptability and resilience in a changing environment
Demonstrate technical curiosity and passion for exploring new technologies for future technical roadmap via continuous learning and self-development.
