Position Summary:
The Operations Specialist 6 month contract newly created position will have the responsibility to support the Canadian operations team by analyzing the order book for improved fulfillment opportunities, providing logistic and transportation support and leading the TM returns reconciliation program. Effectively communicates with the warehouse for capacity planning to ensure targets are achieved. Identifies and completes a continuous improvement project connected to the existing order book management, reporting and business operations.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the NAM Sales and Service teams to execute specific ball, accessory, and equipment picks that may not otherwise go automatically. Help the NAM Sales and Service teams with ball, accessory, and equipment picks that aren’t automated.
- Reviews the Canadian order book and works with Customer Service team to ensure timely order fulfillment drops to the warehouses.
- Communicates with the warehouse and NAM fulfillment teams on upcoming order selections to support capacity planning and monthly targets. Communicate with warehouse and NAM fulfillment teams regarding upcoming order selections to support capacity planning and monthly targets.
- Manage the order book fulfillment for custom built clubs and components from the custom warehouse. Support order fulfillment for custom-built clubs and components from the custom warehouse.
- Administers weekly reconciliations for the TM return program and act as liaison with customer service and third party vendors to complete the credit and invoice process Assist with weekly reconciliations for the TM return program and work with Customer Service and vendors to complete credits and invoices.
- Drives analytics and reporting on key KPIs – including but not limited to On Time to Promise, Fill Rate, and Order Book Conversion.
- Leads a Continuous Improvement project to enhance existing processes
- Provides logistical support to Key strategic accounts, including unique routing, VAS and transportation needs
- Provide operational support to custom Logo, cresting and TMPL teams. Support custom logo, cresting, and TMPL teams with operational tasks.
- Develop system knowledge on multiple platforms including DOMO, BI, Oracle and WMS
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Must have strong analytical skills, requiring use of data analysis tools
- Ability to work well within a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to coordinate multiple projects and tasks.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience managing large sets of data
- Exceptional communication skills across multiple levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Oracle EBS, Business Objects, DOMO, etc, and possesses aptitude to learn new systems quickly
- Passion/interest/knowledge for golf required. Interest and knowledge of golf
Education, Work Experience, and Professional Certifications:
- Completion of a High school graduation diploma. College or University graduate preferred
- 1-4 years of successful operational experience in a work environment is preferred.
- In depth knowledge of the golf industry and more specifically TaylorMade golf products
- Working knowledge of logistical and supply chain management preferred
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Normal office conditions with extensive computer use
- Able to work overtime and/or extended hours as necessary
- Able to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption
- Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials
