As Medical Affairs Specialist, you 'll Support, coordinate and administer the planning, implementation and Follow-up of /on Investigator Initiated/Sponsored Trial and other clinical programs within Medical Affairs in the EMEAC region.
How you'll make an impact:
• IIT/IST program maintenance & development
- Manage all necessary administrative steps, provides documentation and distributes contract obligations including financial obligations (sets up milestones/timelines/payment schedule/deliverables/Rfaas).
- Assist the institution in trial initiation and implementation.
- Maintain contact with key institutional departments.
- Monitor and reports site enrollment progress.
- Support coordinate statistical analysis and publication support where needed.
- Maintain internal documentation in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP´s) and other internal regulations for agency/internal auditing.
- Ensure close follow-up on progress of clinical studies supported by Edwards Lifesciences
- Facilitate information exchange within Edwards BUs
- Prepare monthly reports, enrollment/progress reports
- Assist in the Grant Application Review Committee meetings, sets up the monthly agenda & prepares minutes
- Assist during scientific discussions, protocols reviews
- Keep up to date with current related trends and topics of interest within the medical community
• Customer reach-out
- Understand scientific needs of customers (internal, patients, health care providers and payors)
- Support scientific exchange meeting (e.g. Advisory boards)
• Publication support
- Support maintenance and development of the ISt publication plan when applicable
• General responsibilities
- Foster strong collaboration and information exchange between Medical Affairs and other business units (Sales, Marketing, Clinical)
- Be a credible ambassador for Edwards Lifesciences products and live Edwards Lifesciences culture/credo
- Apply rigorous scientific methodology while understanding the commercial ramifications/implications
• Other incidental duties
What you'll need:
Master's Degree or equivalent in related field, 2 Years years experience previous related medical device and/or clinical experience Required

• Proven expertise in MS Office Suite and ability to operate general office machinery
• Good written and verbal communication skills, presentation, and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
