About the Role:
The Specialist Manager, Circular Economy (Max- Term Parental Leave Cover) is a senior leadership role responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of Salvos Stores circular economy strategy. With a strong focus on business development, donation harvesting and productive partnerships, this role plays a critical part in positioning Salvos Stores as a leader within Australia’s growing circular ecosystem.
Working collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners, you will develop compelling value propositions for customers, donors and partners, ensuring our circular economy initiatives remain innovative, commercially sustainable and aligned with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a geographically diverse team, focussed on circular partnerships and initiatives in Australia
Lead collaborative Circular Economy projects and initiatives throughout all stages of the product and service development cycle
Ensure favourable commercial outcomes across various Circular Economy product and service offerings, liaising with the finance team as required
Develop and management constructive, values-aligned partnerships to further circular goals
Develop communication/media plans and build networks with important stakeholders
Work with likeminded managers and an excellent team to have a positive impact on the environment and society
Keep up-to date with current and emerging Circular Economy business opportunities
About You:
A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business Management or a related field (desirable)
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing, relationship management or NFP leadership
Demonstrated experience in product development
Proven ability to build strong value propositions in retail and/or not-for-profit environments
Experience managing large, organisation-wide projects
Demonstrated capability to lead and manage geographically diverse teams
