The Opportunity

This position works out of our Washington, DC location within the GA Government Affairs division.

As the specialist of government relations, you will analyze and evaluate the impact of government policy and regulation on the organization's activities and objectives.

What You'll Work On:

  • Research, interpret, and analyze proposed changes to regulations or government policy and prepare reports on how these changes may impact the organization.
  • Prepare materials for meetings and other events involving government representatives so that the organization’s representatives are well-informed on current issues.
  • Respond accurately and promptly to enquiries from government representatives about the organization and its activities without releasing information that could compromise the organization’s competitive position or confidentiality standard.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS)
  • 1+ Years of relevant work experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

The base pay for this position is

$50,700.00 – $101,300.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
