Te Tūranga – About the role
As part of the Foodstuffs Precision Media team, the Insights & Measurement Manager leads insight‑driven strategy, media effectiveness measurement, and commercial storytelling across our retail media business.  In this senior role, you’ll own the quality, consistency, and impact of insights and measurement outputs, while leading and developing a talented team and partnering closely with Client Services, Merchandise, and senior stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning insight‑led strategic responses that drive strong media planning and commercial outcomes
  • Leading best‑in‑class measurement frameworks that demonstrate effectiveness, incremental growth, and ROI
  • Setting quality standards for insight, planning, reporting, and storytelling across the team
  • Coaching and developing a high‑performing Insights & Measurement team
  • Partnering cross‑functionally to translate category, brand, and supplier strategies into actionable media recommendations

He kōrero mōu - About you
You’re a commercially minded insights leader who thrives at the intersection of data, media, and strategy. Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, you know how to turn complex information into clear, compelling stories that drive confident decision‑making and measurable results.  Experience within FMCG and retail media is highly desirable.

You’ll also bring:

  • 8+ years’ experience in insights, measurement, media strategy, or analytics roles
  • Deep understanding of media planning and digital and multi‑channel retail media environments
  • Proven experience leading, coaching, or setting quality standards for others
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Confidence presenting to senior stakeholders, clients, and cross‑functional teams
