Job Description

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., (ACT) is a global Fortune 200 company. A leader in the convenience store and fuel space, it has footprint across 31 countries and territories. The Chargeback Specialist will be a key player in Global Payment Operations team that will help grow payment analytics globally at ACT.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the chargebacks for all streams of Circle K credit card acceptance.

This role will require an understanding of payment processing, fraud detection, and reconciliation, as well as the ability to work closely with various internal and external groups to mitigate and prevent future chargebacks

About the role

This candidate will also provide advanced analytics used to decrease chargebacks with driving process enhancements by researching and interpreting trends, solving various data and analytic needs, conducting exploratory data analysis, and creation of polished deliverables.

Roles & Responsibilities

Analytics & Strategy

  • Analyse large-scale structured data; develop deep-dive analyses

  • Organize a large amount of data

  • Develop process to enhance chargeback process

  • Regular progress and program reporting

Operational Excellence

  • Partner with respective team(s) to build, design, maintain, and automated dashboards and reporting

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Working collaboratively across multiple sets of stakeholders – Internal (Accounting, Retail Systems, D&A groups, etc) and external (Issuers, Payment Brands, Processors, etc)

  • Articulate work results to management

Job Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a background with history of data analysis, or equivalent work experience

Relevant Experience

  • 2 plus years of work experience

  • Relevant working experience data analytics

  • End to End Program Management & Maintenance

  • Ability to develop documented processes and procedures

Knowledge

  • Payment processing knowledge is preferred

  • Strong analytics skill-set

  • Microsoft Office applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
