NTT DATA is looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a Project Operations Analyst to work onsite (once per week) in San Jose, Costa Rica with our global client. 

Overview:

We are seeking a Project Operations Analyst to join an exciting opportunity supporting the day-to-day management of international projects, ensuring that financial, operational, and compliance processes run smoothly. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to track progress, manage documentation, and keep projects on schedule across multiple countries. The role offers exposure to impactful, mission-driven projects that support community innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track activities across a portfolio of international projects, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, and documentation are completed on time.
  • Monitor financial processes, including budgets, disbursements, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project plans.
  • Review project and financial documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with internal guidelines.
  • Drive consistent and persistent follow-up with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely submission of reports, financials, and required materials.
  • Support project planning through the preparation and review of operational plans, budgets, and procurement documentation.
  • Track project milestones and reporting requirements, proactively identifying risks or delays and escalating when needed.
  • Assist with audit processes, including the review and submission of financial statements and related reports.
  • Serve as a central coordination point across stakeholders in multiple countries and time zones, keeping projects organized and moving forward.
  • Respond to operational, financial, and administrative inquiries from partners and provide guidance as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in project coordination, operations, finance, compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, particularly when working with financial and compliance-related information.
  • Proactive and self-directed, with the ability to anticipate needs and take ownership of tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence in following up persistently with stakeholders and managing high volumes of requests.
  • Ability to work navigate time-sensitive requests across multiple teams.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven, behind-the-scenes role.
  • Must have be fluency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working with international teams, NGOs, financial institutions, or corporate environments is a plus.
