Salary Range: $169279 - $197200 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a SPECIAL PROGRAMS DEPUTY BRANCH HEAD within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS.

Major Duties:

  • You will report directly to the Deputy Director and serve as a focal point for a broad range of special access program support, multi-level security determinations and all programmatic oversight requirements, issues, functions, and policies.
  • You will be required to lead, direct, and coordinate division and branch actions and efforts, establish effective communication channels to assist with alignment and sync in areas that require special access.
  • You will represent N98 during Special Access Program reviews and Liaison with N9SP to review, track, monitor, coordinate and align funding priorities.
  • You will lead efforts to identify, assess, and demonstrate the effectiveness of new concepts, approaches, and relationships, which may be applied to achieve specific productivity, process, and performance improvements.
  • You will enable and support the Air Warfare Division leadership team with strategy development, planning, analysis, special program oversight, and management expertise necessary to establish and maintain coherent decision-making processes.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Integrating, preparing, developing, and assessing the executive-level decision making and briefing materials for all matters including policy, oversight, administration, programs, resources, requirements, and fleet implementation. 2) Exercising the principal responsibility of leading a team in the development of an executable resourcing strategy to address strategic and operational capability and capacity gaps in all Type/Model/Series platforms and peripheral weapons systems. 3) Performing strategic and detailed analysis as necessary to support the development, implementation, and oversight in accordance with established goals and objectives. 4) Developing and supporting the implementation of criteria and methodologies that establish programmatic baselines for use in objectively and credibly determining appropriate levels. 5) Analyzing, formulating, and managing staffing and other operations requirements necessary to perform the organizational mission and meet strategic goals.
