To Handle SPC & FDC deployment for MOD Quality. 

Responsibilities:

* Is an active member in business process review and improvement discussions among the site(s) and the System Level Process team.

* Responsible for introducing standard methods and deploying standard tools to their site(s).

* Accountable for organizing site business process review and demonstrating compliance to standards.

* Accountable to communicate timely on major changes of the process or where there are presence of non-conformities or new CSRs, etc and identify the need to conduct additional Site Level Business Process Reviews.

* Act as the point of contact for bi-directional process communication (between System Level Process Owner and local site(s)).

* Develop and maintain site(s) specific process artifacts

* Report process performance to site management.

* Work with the System Level Process owner to manage site(s) level risk, including use of the RBT App as required.

* Maintain local procedure, workflow, checklists as job aids for the performers.

* Lead deployment of customer requirements as defined and approved by the process owner.

* Responsible for deployment of customer requirements at respective site as agreed and approved by the SLPO.
JD :

As an SPC Engineer, you are responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of the SPC program. This includes collaborating with Process Engineering, Process Integration, RDA, and Probe departments to ensure they are adhering to the Micron Quality Standards for Statistical Process Control. Additionally, you are responsible for prioritizing inline parameters that need engineering attention, sourcing variation contributors on critical parameters, providing internal customers with SPC performance metrics, and providing CpK metrics to Micron Corporate to be shared with external customers for review.

 

Responsibilities and Tasks:

1) Implementing SPC Business Process and Best-Known Methods

  • Understand the different types of limits used in SPC system and drives the proper use of limits throughout the engineering community
  • Understand proper control techniques (Western Electric Rules, etc.) and implements use for critical parameters, as needed to detect quality deviations
  • Works with engineering community to set appropriate goals for SPC metrics (CpK, Cp Control, %OOC, etc.) on a semi-annual basis or as needed
  • Apply WW SPC Business Process to implement use of BKM’s with regards to SPC
  • Participates in WW SPC meetings to ensure the best interests of internal/external customers are considered with regards to any modifications to the WW SPC BP and/or BKM’s
  • Regularly attends Process Engineering and/or Process Integration area meetings to enable the sourcing and elimination of common cause variation
  • Act as Quality Engineering representative for control limit modification approvals
  • Collaborates with R2R team to understand opportunities for custom functionality implementation to reduce variation
  • Frequently reviews critical inline parameters to source variation

 

2) SPC Training Development

  • Collaborate with local Workforce Development team to deliver any new updates to the SPC Business Process, local policies, or procedures
  • Develop new SPC related training material, as necessary
  • Deliver SPC related training material, when necessary, to affected local personnel

 

3) SPC Metrics Definition and Delivery

  • Collaborate with local engineering organizations to define SPC related goals on a semi-annual basis
  • Provide SPC metric performance to local engineering teams when available for prioritization
  • Automate SPC metric calculations, when necessary
  • Provide a weekly update to Manager for inline (metrology) CpK performance

 

4) Internal and External Audit Preparation and Participation

  • Conducts internal audits of inline parameters and the alignment of each parameter to the specifications based on criticality with results then being shared with affected engineering organizations
  • Prepares material to be reviewed by Customer Auditors during onsite customer visits
  • Participates in audits (Micron Auditors and External Customer Auditors) that evaluate the SPC program and works to close any Non-Conformances or Opportunities for Improvement defined by the auditor(s)
    Participates in Control Manufacturing/Maintain Process Business Process as necessary
