Main responsibilities:
Define and execute the strategic vision for Global HEVA Economic Modeling, establishing standards, methodologies, and best practices that maintain Sanofi's position as an industry leader in health economic modeling.
Lead, develop, and inspire a team of 7 HEVA Modeling Leads, fostering a high-performing culture focused on scientific excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Partner strategically with the Sanofi Business Operation (SBO) Hub modeling team to build capabilities, ensure knowledge transfer, and create a unified approach to economic modeling across the organization.
Provide strategic input to portfolio planning, product development, and pricing strategy through robust cost-effectiveness and budget impact models that support critical business decisions.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for economic modeling with senior leadership, Value & Access teams, and external stakeholders, translating complex concepts into compelling narratives.
Drive meaningful innovation at the intersection of health economics, AI, and digital transformation in modeling approaches and methodologies, anticipating evolving HTA requirements and payer expectations to ensure our capabilities remain fit-for-purpose globally.
Oversee quality assurance and governance frameworks across all modeling activities, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality models that meet global and local market needs.
About you
Education: Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Health Economics, Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or related quantitative field; PhD strongly preferred
Experience: Extensive background in health economics and outcomes research with deep focus on economic modeling, including proven people leadership experience managing technical experts and building high-performing teams
Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of cost-effectiveness and budget impact modeling, HTA submissions across multiple markets (Europe, US, Asia-Pacific), and state-of-the-art modeling techniques including decision-analytic models, Markov models, and discrete event simulation
Leadership skills: Exceptional ability to inspire and develop teams, drive strategic thinking, build consensus across diverse stakeholders, and manage change in complex organizations
Languages: Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English, with ability to influence senior leadership and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Collaboration: Proven success working with global shared service organizations and building capabilities across distributed teams.

The salary range for this position is:
$206,250.00 - $297,916.66All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
