  • Lead implementation of complex components and resolve technical challenges.
  • Design and optimize SQL Server databases (schema, indexing, performance tuning).
  • Develop and support ETL pipelines using SSIS and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Ensure code quality through reviews, standards, and best practices.

Delivery planning & Agile execution

  • Provide accurate effort estimates and delivery timelines.
  • Break down requirements into prioritized, sprint-aligned work items.
  • Identify risks and dependencies early, with clear mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives).
  • Support production issues including root-cause analysis and resolution.

Team leadership & mentorship

  • Mentor and guide junior developers through code reviews and technical direction.
  • Promote best practices across development, design, and documentation.
  • Strengthen overall team capability and delivery quality.

Technical application ownership (TAO)

  • Act as the TAO (or TAO delegate), accountable for application health, stability, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee production readiness across deployment, monitoring, and support processes.
  • Coordinate with L2/L3 support, infrastructure, and stakeholders for incident management.
  • Drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and continuous improvement.

Required qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET/C# and SQL Server in enterprise environments.
  • Experience designing and delivering end-to-end solutions across application, data, and integration layers.
  • Proven ability to produce and review design artifacts (HLD, LLD, technical specifications) and translate requirements into working software.
  • Experience with ETL/data integration (SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory).
