Job Description
As a Solution Architect, you will work in a client-facing role for established global clientele, helping them apply capabilities to challenging business problems. Our work is fast paced, demanding, and provides unparalleled exposure to unique opportunities. In this role you will help design, develop, and test solutions for a diverse set of clients in industries such as Manufacturing, Life Sciences, High Tech, Auto & Tire, Consumer Goods, and Warehousing & Logistics. You will report to the Principal, Kalypso and will be fully remote, working anywhere in Florida.
Your Responsibilities:
- Define business solutions, working with business process owners, department heads, functional groups, I.T. and others in the client ecosystem.
- Create, Manage and deliver defined scope and deliverables according to project milestones and deadlines.
- From a functional perspective, support Lead and Solution Architect on end-to-end project deliverables focusing on implementing, maintaining, and supporting one or more applications.
- Participate in functional workshops and design sessions.
- Perform and manage requirements gathering, solution design, and oversight.
- Designing the technical architecture for the solutions in a manner that allows ease of use and quick adoption by users in all the involved business groups for a diverse set of clients.
- Create project deliverables including functional and technical documentation.
- Identify applicable business process scenarios for testing the application being developed and delivered.
- Support knowledge transfer sessions with business users and client project team members.
- Work to resolve risks and issues with project delivery.
- Provide design and configuration direction to the Kalypso onshore and offshore team as required to support project deliverables.
- Provide weekly project status updates.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelors degree
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- Willingness to travel international and domestic up to 80%.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Engineering or Manufacturing project leadership experience; demonstrated ability to manage an engineering team, manage program risk to meet technical and commercial requirements
- Experience developing detailed project plans and holding teams accountable for project deliverables and commitments.
- 8+ years' experience manufacturing or product design.
- Experience with PTC Windchill, including PDMLink, MPM, Options and Variants, Change Management, Supplier Management, and ProjectLink
- Familiarity with ALM and Requirements Management and Validation (User Stories, System requirements, Rapid Prototyping, POC, and UAT)
- Familiarity with CAD Authoring tools (Creo, Solidworks, NX, Catia, Mentor, Cadence, Altium) and Simulation/Emulations tools (Emulate3D and Arena)
- Experience delivering projects using Agile or other similar methodologies.
- Strong client interfacing skills.
- Support pre-sale activities during sales cycles.
- Conduct demos and create proof of concept solutions.
- Work with sales and marketing team to provide subject matter content as requested.
