Solution Architect, Oracle CPQQuote-to-Cash
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of our Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) ecosystem, with deep expertise in Oracle CPQ and the broader Oracle technology stack, including FOM, EBS/Fusion, PIM, PDH, and related order and fulfillment systems.
In this role, you will serve as the end-to-end architecture leader for CPQ-driven business capabilities, partnering closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Success to deliver scalable, integrated, and future-ready solutions. You will ensure seamless orchestration across product configuration, pricing, order management, fulfillment, entitlement, and revenue workflows.
This role requires proven experience supporting complex selling motions that include standalone software, standalone hardware, and software-for-hardware bundles. You will design solutions that handle subscription licensing, support renewals, hardware fulfillment, entitlement management, and revenue allocation across bundled offerings.
You will play a key role in advancing automation, intelligent pricing, and AI-enabled insights across the Q2C lifecycle to enable operational efficiency and revenue growth at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and lead end-to-end Quote-to-Cash solutions centered on Oracle CPQ, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and long-term business strategy.
Design scalable integrations between Oracle CPQ and adjacent systems including Salesforce CRM, Oracle FOM, Oracle EBS/Fusion, PIM, PDH, Subscription Management, and Asset Management.
Design and support complex selling models including:
Hardware-only transactions with fulfillment and logistics orchestration
Software-only subscription and term-based licensing models
Software-for-hardware bundles requiring entitlement mapping, co-termination, revenue allocation, and support alignment
Define architecture patterns for product configuration, pricing logic, discounting frameworks, approvals, order orchestration, and revenue enablement across bundled product portfolios.
Ensure accurate revenue treatment for bundled hardware and software deals, including allocation logic and integration with financial systems.
Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs.
Establish product and pricing governance across CPQ, PIM/PDH, ERP, and fulfillment systems to maintain data integrity and operational consistency.
Drive modernization initiatives including workflow automation, standardization of bundled product offerings, and AI-enabled pricing or deal intelligence capabilities.
Provide architectural oversight for entitlement management, asset lifecycle tracking, renewals, and subscription modifications.
Ensure compliance with SOX, audit controls, and enterprise data governance standards across hardware and software revenue streams.
Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior technical leadership roles supporting Quote-to-Cash processes.
Deep expertise in Oracle CPQ with strong knowledge of configuration models, pricing engines, advanced approvals, and integration frameworks.
Hands-on experience integrating Oracle CPQ with Oracle FOM, EBS or Fusion ERP, PIM, PDH, Subscription Management, and Asset Management systems.
Demonstrated experience architecting solutions for hybrid hardware and software selling motions, including bundled offerings and subscription licensing models.
Strong understanding of entitlement management, renewals, support contracts, hardware fulfillment workflows, and revenue allocation principles.
Experience designing APIs, middleware integrations, and enterprise data synchronization patterns.
Proven ability to translate complex commercial models into scalable, high-performance system architectures.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Preferred Experience
Experience in SaaS or technology-driven enterprises with integrated hardware and software portfolios.
Exposure to global implementations across multi-currency and multi-entity environments.
Experience with ASC 606 revenue considerations in bundled hardware and software models.
Understanding of the full Go-To-Market (GTM) ecosystem and customer lifecycle management.
Certifications in Oracle CPQ, Oracle Cloud ERP, or enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).

The annual base pay for this position is: $185,100.00 - $277,700.00F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5’s differing products, industries, and lines of business.
