We’re seeking a Solder-Assembly Technician for our Exton, PA location. If you have strong soldering skills and enjoy working on high-quality electronic components, this role offers an opportunity to grow and cross-train in a collaborative environment.

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm

What you’ll do

  • Perform precision soldering and de-soldering of SMT and through-hole components.
  • Assemble and inspect PCB assemblies per IPC-A-610 standards.
  • Operate and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, and solder pots.
  • Work from drawings and process documentation to complete assemblies.
  • Operate SMT pick-and-place machines and prepare sub-assemblies for production.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and a clean work station.

What you need

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with PCB assembly and soldering techniques
  • Ability to solder and de-solder SMT and through-hole components
  • Familiarity with ESD handling requirements and electronic components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Can perform repetitive tasks with attentiveness.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and engage with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing.
  • Possesses intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Outlook.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)

Preferred:

  • IPC 610/620/JSTD certifications
  • Six to twenty-four (6-24) months of industrial experience or similar training is preferred.
  • 3+ years of soldering/assembly experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Some bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, mild lifting of 10 pounds or less.
  • Some assemblers are required to intermittently lift up to 50 pounds.
