About the role:
You perform routine and complex tasks related to installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing software testing equipment. Additionally, you serve as the administrator for all software testing equipment, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and ISO 13485 requirements.
Your key duties and responsibilities as a Software Testing Equipment Engineer :
To cooperate on the installation, troubleshoot, and repair software testing equipment.
Participate in creating, reviewing, and updating procedures within the assigned area.
Segregate non‑conforming and overdue equipment according to requirements.
Handle all non‑conforming equipment processes through the quality system (TW).
Contribute to CAPA ownership and resolution within the assigned area.
To collaborate on the implementation of applicable testing methods related to measurement and testing equipment in cooperation with other departments.
Collaborate on project activities with cross‑functional departments and external vendors.
Communicate effectively within a cross‑functional team of engineers and technicians.
Interact professionally with technicians, Customer Service Representatives, managers, and customers.
Negotiate time windows with production to ensure machine availability for service.
Archive all documentation and maintain availability in compliance with GDP requirements.
Ensure compliance with all GMP regulations.
Develop procedures and methods related to measuring and testing equipment.
Identify out‑of‑tolerance conditions and perform corrective actions (adjustments, part replacement, correction factors, etc.).
Identify and correct measurement errors where applicable.
Perform uncertainty evaluations and analyses for measurement standards and related measurement processes.
Maintain and update software used in measurement and testing equipment.
Ensure all measurement equipment is used correctly and in compliance with software specifications and capabilities.
Ensure valid test methods are uploaded into measurement equipment with correct acceptance criteria in cooperation with other departments.
Drive quality improvements through robust system requirements and continuous improvement actions.
Act as administrator for all sotware measuring equipment.
Participate in software validation activities for new measurement equipment when required.
Fulfill responsibilities during all audits (internal, corporate, external; quality, environmental, etc.), as applicable for all employees on site.
About you:
Experience as a Calibration Technician or with software validation (preferred)
Intermediate ability to troubleshoot repair, align and optimize precision equipment
Knowledge of Quality Management system and regulatory requirements
Flexibility, team work, active approach to work
Customer and Quality focus
Strong technical skills and work ethic
Must be a self-motivator, work as a team player, and follow written procedures
Strong attention to details
Basic IT skills for data entry and report generation
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work in a cross functional structure
Qualifications/Education:
Minimum Secondary school education
Precision measurement equipment laboratory (PMEL) or test measurement diagnostic equipment (TMDE) training/experience (preferred)
Must be able to perform general math and algebra functions and understanding of Basic Statistics technics
Technical writing ability
Proficient in use of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
