The Insolvency & Asset Recovery team works with businesses facing financial distress, helping them navigate complex restructuring, insolvency, and recovery processes. We support clients through administration, liquidation, and turnaround strategies, while also investigating financial irregularities and recovering assets. This team plays a critical role in protecting value and ensuring fair outcomes for stakeholders.

A look into the role  

As an Associate within our Insolvency & Asset Recovery team, you will:  

• Work with a variety of clients, from FTSE-listed companies to fast-growing start-ups, across sectors like financial services, public sector, and technology — gaining exposure to complex financial challenges and recovery strategies.
• Get involved from day one contributing to real advisory projects – from business transformation and risk management to forensic investigations, insolvency procedures, and performance improvement.
• Take on responsibility quickly Owning tasks that challenge your thinking and build your confidence — including supporting clients in recovering value and navigating financial distress.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues, turning complex business issues into clear, actionable solutions.
• Support clients through strategic and operational challenges, helping them improve performance, manage risk, and achieve sustainable growth.
• Learn every day on the job with guidance from mentors and a structured training programme to build your technical, digital and professional skills.   
• Study with support, with dedicated time to study and a team behind you as you work towards your ACA qualifications.
