What you’ll achieve
As a Software Senior Development Engineer, you’ll be part of an agile Scrum team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining innovative features that empower customers to manage PowerMax at scale. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern technologies, collaborate with top engineering talent, and contribute to software that drives the future of enterprise storage.
You will:
Analyses and translates business requirements and user needs into engineering, design, and technical specifications to support PowerMax releases
Design, develop, test, and integrate code for new or existing software features
Participate and Lead in Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, functional testing, and code reviews, leveraging Github for version control and collaboration
Utilize JIRA to detail defects and user stories, and qTest for functional tests

Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in CS/EC/EE, with 5 to 8 years relevant experience.
Experience with Java (or other similar OO language) and at least one of the following: TypeScript (Angular), HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is a plus
Strong understanding of design patterns, OO design methodologies, and software development principles
May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning, and mentoring junior team members
Desirable Requirements
Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and CSI driver integration. Hands-on experience with REST API and gRPC performance tuning. Familiarity with profiling tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, k6, perf). Experience with API gateways, load balancers, and caching strategies.
