Inside the Role

The Test Management Engineer supports the application and adoption of the Test Management Framework and associated testing tools across projects. This role contributes to the development and maintenance of training materials and supports teams in understanding and applying test management processes within their day‑to‑day testing activities.
The position focuses on execution, support, and learning, working under guidance from experienced Test Management and verification engineers while building practical knowledge of test processes, tooling, and system‑level testing concepts.

Position offers a starting salary range of $78,000 – $100,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

What You Drive At DTNA

Test Management Support & Execution

  • Support the application of Test Management processes within projects

  • Assist teams in using test management tools and templates as defined by the framework

  • Help ensure test plans, specifications, and artifacts follow established standards

Training Material Development & Delivery

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of training materials, user guides, and documentation

  • Support delivery of training sessions, workshops, and walkthroughs for testing teams

  • Assist in tailoring training content to different testing audiences under guidance

Toolchain & Process Support

  • Support onboarding of projects to the Test Management toolchain

  • Assist with day‑to‑day questions related to test planning, traceability, and reporting

  • Help collect feedback from users to identify areas for improvement in training or tooling

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work with system integration, validation, and test automation teams to understand testing workflows

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding process usage and expectations

  • Support documentation of common issues, questions, and best practices

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

  • Initial experience or academic exposure to software testing or verification concepts

  • Basic understanding of test planning, test cases, and verification workflows

  • Ability to learn and apply structured processes and tools

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Willingness to work with cross‑functional engineering teams

Exceptional Candidates Would Have

  • Exposure to system, integration, or component testing environments

  • Familiarity with test management or lifecycle tools (e.g., ETM, ELM, or similar)

  • Interest in test automation or structured verification processes
