Your responsibilities:
• Manage a team of ~ 10 SW engineers working on embedded SW development projects in smart cards / eSE context
• Develop the team to obtain expert knowledge of JavaCard applet development
• Improve development processes within the team as well involving other sites working on the same subject
• Motivate the team to achieve professional delivery quality in timely manner
• Role model for the team, fulfilling architect role as JavaCard applets architect in various cross-functional teams contributing to new eSE solutions
• Work with customers, field sales team, applications engineers to capture new product requirements
• Resource management for the team in alignment with involved project leads
Your profile:
• Bachelor or Master degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent;
• 15+ years experience as project manager
• Recognized senior member of technical staff, equivalent semiconductor expertise
• Experience in related fields such as automotive, industrial
• Track record of 10+ years in embedded software development, preferably in C, C++, Java
• Experience of 5+ years in managing cross-site multi-cultural teams as manager/architect
• Experience with smartcard / payment standards is an asset
• Solution oriented mindset
• Good motivation skills, teamplayer
• English proficiency – both written in verbal
The following skills are considered a plus:
• Knowledge in semiconductors, Java Card / Global Platform standards
• Knowledge of smart card applications (banking/payment, eGovernment, public transport, access)
• Applied cryptography, security, and evaluations (like Common Criteria)
• PMI(R) certification
• German language skills
