What you’ll achieve
As a Scrum Master on the VxRail team, you will play a critical role in enabling the team to deliver high‑quality releases on time. You will act as a servant leader and facilitator, ensuring Agile principles and practices are followed, removing impediments that block progress, and fostering continuous improvement. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, product management, quality, and operations to maintain real‑time transparency on release status and drive process efficiency across teams and stakeholders.

You will:

• Agile Facilitation: Guide the team in applying Scrum and Agile principles effectively; ensure ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand‑ups, Reviews, Retrospectives) are productive and focused.

• Release Management: Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of releases; proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans.

• Impediment Removal: Work closely with engineers and other teams to identify and remove blockers that hinder progress, enabling smooth and efficient delivery.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication of release status, risks, and progress to stakeholders and leadership.

• Metrics & Reporting: Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, release progress) to provide visibility and support data‑driven decisions.

• Collaboration: Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, and accountability within the team and across departments.

• Coaching: Mentor team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices to promote organizational agility.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 8+ years of experience in project management or Agile delivery roles, with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and principles.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver complex projects on time.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills.

• Experience working with distributed teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management platforms

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to use metrics for continuous improvement.


Desirable Requirements

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI‑ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.

• Experience in software development environments, preferably in infrastructure or cloud solutions.
