The E-7 Software Integrated Product Team is seeking a Software Engineering Manager for E-7 International (Australia, Korea, UK, Turkey) and Mission Support Software Development Activities. This role will be in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

This manager will be responsible for software engineering activities across multiple programs and contracts within the E-7 portfolio. The selected individual will provide leadership across the portfolio, partnering with the Chief Engineering Office and Program Management offices to ensure cost/schedule/technical execution within established baselines.

The E-7 Software IPT is responsible for full software lifecycle of E-7 Mission Capabilities for current and future customers of the platform. This engages all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including proposals/estimating, modeling/requirements, design, implementation, integration, test, delivery and sustainment, and the leader in this role will support each of these lifecycle areas throughout execution. The E-7 portfolio is growing with current customer base contracts and future customer pursuit activities on-going. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead software development activities across the International E-7 Portfolio collaborating with the larger engineering IPTs for successful execution

  • Champion technical excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge-sharing across teams and programs

  • Responsible for deploying Boeing Engineering Initiatives and best practices, as appropriate, for improved quality and efficiency

  • Collaborate with customer engineering counterparts to align development roadmaps and identify/manage cross-program dependencies

  • Support rapid business growth: five additional aircraft awarded (Mar 2026) and imminent new work (Studies & Analysis with heavy Ground Software scope, and Advanced E-7).

  • Oversight of multiple managers and teams working across multiple contracts and programs in the international portfolio

  • USAF and International customer interaction at change control boards, other formal, and informal collaborative meetings

  • Team discussion and collaboration with first level managers from related functional areas (e.g. software architecture, software test, SEIT, Labs)

  • CDRLs, metrics, change boards, workflow and associated agile development

  • CAM Responsibilities on EVM programs

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance Post-Start

  • 10+ years of experience as a manager for a team of software engineers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Active Security Clearance

  • Experience with Defense Industry Development

  • Earned Value Management Experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $184,450 -$249,550.
