We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong background in developing and maintaining data transformation workflows API services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Python, cloud platform services on AWS or Azure, and object-oriented programming. You will play a key role in architecting, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and high-performance API solutions for data workflows at scale
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain components for data transformation workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions
Ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient code using best practices in container development
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
Maintain documentation and contribute to code reviews
Stay current with emerging technologies, especially in cloud and containerization
Required Qualifications
The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the U.S. government is a condition of employment, and U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite for this process
Strong proficiency in Python
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud services
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
Hands-on experience with container development best practices
Familiarity with Kubernetes or other data pipelining/orchestration technologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with FedRAMP and/or GovCloud environments
Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools or workflows
Prior experience working with data pipelines and orchestration tools
Understanding of security and compliance requirements in regulated environments
Experience configuring and managing Kubernetes clusters
Nice to Have
Exposure to additional programming languages (e.g., Go, Java)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in the context of data workflows

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
