Position Summary

Main Responsibilities
Develop software that aligns with agreed designs and standards.
Write meaningful unit and functional tests to ensure low‑defect handover to SQA.
Peer‑review code and provide constructive written and verbal feedback.
Identify improvements in design, process, or approach.
Take ownership of your work and deliver to agreed timelines.
Balance technical excellence with product usability and timely delivery.
Follow in‑house coding standards, tools, and methodologies.
Contribute across projects and maintain support documentation.
Assist with debugging and production support when needed.
Adapt to changing priorities as part of the natural development process.
Provide support and mentoring to other team members.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
Strong proficiency in C# development.
Event‑based system development experience.
Experience with relational databases and stored procedures (MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
Good understanding of source control tools (e.g., Perforce).
Knowledge of multi‑threaded application development.
Understanding of client/server architecture and REST APIs.
Beneficial Skills & Experience
Experience with C/C++.
Understanding of basic network fundamentals — unicast, multicast, IP routing, subnetting.
Exposure to AI technologies.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; or
Relevant commercial or personal portfolio experience demonstrating your capability.
