JOB ROLE - SOFTWARE ENGINEER II
We are currently hiring for two Software Engineer II roles, each aligned to a distinct skill set. Candidates who meet the qualifications for either role are encouraged to apply.
As a Software Engineer II at GHX, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions. The role focuses on contributing across the product development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on coding, design discussions, and building scalable, high-availability systems in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Hibernate
Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs with a focus on performance, security, and resilience
Develop cloud-native applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
Optimize data layers using MongoDB, MySQL, and Elasticsearch
Implement security best practices across application layers
Leverage ELK stack for logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and CI/CD processes
Support production systems, including on-call and incident resolution
Required Experience:
3–5 years of experience in Java and Spring-based development
Strong experience with AWS services and microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with databases like MongoDB and MySQL
Experience building secure, high-availability, and fault-tolerant systems
Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality front-end applications using Angular
Build and integrate applications with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions
Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
Ensure application scalability, performance, and security
Support production environments, including troubleshooting and incident response
Required Experience:
3–5 years of experience in front-end development using Angular
Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud-based application development
Experience building scalable, secure, and high-availability applications
Exposure to microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong understanding of software architecture and system design
Experience working in Agile environments
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
