About the Role

Figure is growing, and our Loan Originations Engineering team is expanding to meet that demand. We're looking for a Front-End Engineer who is curious, innovative, and collaborative - someone passionate about building and maintaining customer-facing applications. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to design and deliver lending technology at scale. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and be a key contributor to our product experience. Prepare to be challenged: we value high ownership and a high bar for execution.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain high-quality, mobile-first React web applications
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across multiple teams
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews to ensure quality
• Share knowledge and learn from your peers to continuously improve team capabilities
• Enhance our development ecosystem with better tooling, documentation, and testing

What We Look For

• 1+ years of engineering / development experience in a fast paced, agile environment
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, React, and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Experience with building accessible applications and improving user experiences
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Experience with automated testing frameworks

Salary

• Compensation Range: $102,960- $128,700/yr
• 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly 
• Equity stock options package
• This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
