About the department:
TACC is looking for a full-stack Software Engineer with strong expertise in .NET and Windows-based technologies, and a modern approach to development using AI-assisted tools.
In this role, you will work closely with trading, operations, and risk teams to design and build scalable, high-performance applications that support critical business functions. You will also support vendor-based applications, acting as a key liaison between internal business teams and external vendors to ensure timely issue resolution and system stability.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
You will contribute to application development and production support for critical business systems.
You will coordinate with business users and vendor on any development or production support activities.
You will refactor code to improve extensibility, structure, and performance.
You will review peer code and designs using strong business domain understanding.
You will actively participate in design and implementation discussions.
You will build and maintain critical shared libraries and frameworks.
You will design unit, integration, and non‑functional testing strategies.
You will create application designs, data models, and interface specifications.
You will translate requirements into technical designs for custom and packaged solutions.
You will define non‑functional requirements and environment usage strategies.
You will support integration testing and technology roadmap planning.
Experience & Capabilities:
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and think critically
Structured problem‑solving using available resources
Experience supporting financial reconciliation systems
Interest or exposure to blockchain technology
Technical Skills:
Strong fundamentals in C#/.NET, React, Python, and SQL. You know how to build things properly, even when AI is doing heavy lifting.
Ability to coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders
Strong understanding of SQL databases
Demonstrated daily use of AI development tools to write, review, and ship code. This isn’t a nice-to-have.
Show thorough understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, database design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, including unit testing, performance analysis, and n-tier architecture.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD processes, cloud deployments, and cloud application observability, as well as integrating AI development workflows with legacy systems and infrastructure.
Qualifications (Required):
Computer Science or Software Engineering degree.
Experience (Desired):
5+ years of software development experience across the full stack.
Experience with production support and issue management
