WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Software Engineer - Back-End - Oracle Focused

As a Software Engineer, you will own the full development lifecycle to build successful products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for a detail-oriented and adaptable engineer who thrives on learning new technologies and managing complex systems. You will partner with your team to analyze, code, test, and document features, making a direct impact on our internal and external customers.

This is a full-time, remote position. Candidates located in any of the following locations are highly preferred:

  • Portland, OR

  • Tulsa, OK

  • Denver, CO

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Take ownership of the entire application lifecycle, from initial analysis and design to coding, testing, and documentation.

  • Partner with teammates and management to build and maintain robust features for internal and external customers.

  • Navigate complex challenges and manage multiple moving pieces to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Have exciting opportunities to make a tangible difference in a collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 2+ years previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields.

  • 2+ years of hands-on working experience with the finance and accounting modules of an ERP system (Oracle).

  • Some experience in designing and developing large-scale systems.

  • Good proficiency with Java, along with some experience with Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Data, and Spring AOP.

  • Some experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with professional and empathetic interpersonal abilities.

  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, organized, and adaptable to evolving project needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Reliable internet access is required.

  • Sitting/standing at a desk working on a computer for long periods of time.

  • Infrequent travel (up to 10%) possible for project-based or in-person team gatherings at one of the locations listed above.

Pay range (US based applicants): $102,786 - $107,000 (annualized)

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, certifications, relevant education and training, while also considering internal equity.
