Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Role Overview:

As our products and AI-driven features continue to expand, we’re looking for a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to help us scale QA through AI and automation. You will help modernize our QA ecosystem by applying AI tools to enhance functional and performance testing, optimize test coverage, and accelerate automation with greater accuracy. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, PM, and DevOps teams to ensure the quality of our Services

This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India development center. You will be required to be on-site 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time

About the Role

• Scale QA operations using AI tools and frameworks

• Use AI technologies to enhance testing coverage and automation across multiple teams and locations

• Write, execute, and report comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Develop and maintain automated tests for web and backend systems

• Accelerate CI/CD automation pipelines and improve test coverage analysis

• Identify changes across repositories and commits to help QA focus testing efficiently

• Champion best practices for testing, automation, and AI integration in QA processes

• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar

About You

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or Cody

• Strong understanding of QA automation tools: Selenium, CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins), and issue tracking tools like Jira

• Experience using  Git, and browser development tools

• Write and manage test scripts using Postman's scripting capabilities (JavaScript).

• Proven ability to integrate AI into QA workflows for test generation, coverage analysis, or automation acceleration

• Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript or Python preferred).

• Understanding of security testing principles (e.g., OAuth, token validation).

• Exposure to database testing using SQL.

• Ability to guide and mentor engineers on leveraging AI tools in QA and development

• Strong ownership and multitasking skills

• Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams (PM, DevOps, Engineering)

• Ability to design, scope, and manage large-scale test strategies

• Leverage GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to accelerate test design, automate testing tasks, and analyze defects efficiently.
