Software Engineer III – ADC
We are looking for a Software Engineer III to build and maintain the networking control-plane that connects services and workloads across our cloud platform. You will contribute to production systems that manage routing, connectivity, and configuration across clusters and environments.
What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain control-plane and backend services for routing and network connectivity.
Implement features and fixes related to traffic routing, configuration, and service connectivity.
Keep network state and configuration in sync as systems change.
Improve reliability and availability of networking services.
Write unit and integration tests for your code.
Add logging and metrics to support troubleshooting.
Participate in code reviews and day-to-day engineering execution.
Help diagnose and resolve production issues.
What You Bring
Experience building backend or infrastructure software using C++, Go.
Deep understanding of Envoy. Familiarity with its codebase is preferrable.
Understanding of basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, routing, and connectivity.
Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.
Familiarity with Linux, Kubernetes and cloud environments.
Ability to debug and fix issues in production systems.
Qualifications
• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
