The Role:
We're seeking a dynamic and highly creative Social Media Manager to take full ownership of our social content strategy and execution across key platforms like Instagram and TikTok for multiple brands. This role demands a proactive individual adept at ideating, planning, and scheduling engaging content – from reactive, in-the-moment opportunities to comprehensive monthly and quarterly calendars – ensuring our channels consistently thrive by identifying content gaps and forward planning.
You'll operate with a keen 'newsroom' mentality, consistently tapping into cultural moments and emerging trends, acting as a creative champion to inspire bold, impactful work. A data-driven approach is essential, as you'll analyse content performance, leveraging insights surfaced from our community management team regarding customer sentiment to inform strategy and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and clients. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, negotiator, and presenter, resilient, adaptable, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, collaborating seamlessly with community managers and creatives. While experience with influencer/creator campaigns is preferred, your core strength will lie in driving compelling social narratives and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Be the Senior Client Partner - Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders
across multiple functions, becoming indispensable to their business. Anticipate their needs, advise with authority, and be their go-to for strategic counsel.
Be the Content Architect - Taking full ownership of content strategy, ideation, planning, and scheduling across Instagram and TikTok for multiple brands, ensuring channel growth by proactively identifying gaps and forward planning from reactive to quarterly calendars.
Be the Cultural Pulse & Creative Spark - Operating with a keen 'newsroom' mentality, staying ahead of cultural moments and emerging trends, and acting as a creative champion to inspire bold, impactful social work.
Be the Insight Driver - Leveraging a data-driven approach to analyse content performance, translating customer sentiment and community insights into actionable strategies that inform and optimize our social presence.
Be the Collaborative Communicator - Confidently negotiating, presenting, and fostering seamless relationships with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring unified efforts with community managers and creatives.
Be the Agile Performer - Demonstrating resilience and adaptability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, consistently driving compelling social narratives and engagement for our brands.
Be the Problem Solver - Anticipate risks, manage challenges with confidence, and escalate when needed. Maintain a solutions-first mindset, ensuring momentum is never lost.
