YOUR MISSION

As a Media Solutions Business Analyst you will work alongside performance marketers, data engineers & data scientists driving strategic decisions in media investment and allocation as well as quantifying impact of investments. You will set the standards for other teams to make data driven decisions, deep dive into key business challenges of the marketing department and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to produce data products and outputs. Your work will directly contribute to successful growth of Glovo users.

THE JOURNEY

  • Be a key part of the Media Solutions team, own projects end to end and drive decision making in key areas of marketing investment
  • Produce data products from existing data sources and establish standards of reporting for Marketing organization.
  • Design, publish and maintain Looker dashboards and visualization tools to facilitate campaign management, budgeting and major business decisions.
  • Explore emerging trends in marketing investment optimization by supporting tooling decisions, building data processing pipelines or supporting ongoing automation efforts
  • Explore emerging opportunities in leveraging AI tooling for marketing purposes either by supporting buildout of customer oriented solutions or utilizing it to optimize internal processes.
  • Own the source of truth when it comes to app/web attribution, ensure adherence to latest reporting/privacy standards.
  • Manage customer requests, which includes verifying data quality, analyzing data, isolating and diagnosing the problem and resolving the issue. (with pragmatic solutions).
  • Conduct exploratory analysis of key performance marketing initiatives and discover key drivers of performance

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 4+ years work experience in business analyst, data analyst, data engineering or similar positions.
  • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics or other disciplines with demonstrated technical exposure. Role is combination of business acumen and technical capabilities
  • Analytical mindset to deliver effective & pragmatic solutions & good ability to translate business questions into analytics hypothesis
  • Strong SQL skills - familiar with extracts, manipulation, transformation and analyzing large volumes of data
  • Experience in Looker, Tableau or any other visualization tool is a must. Able to create actionable and easy to use dashboards for end user
  • Great communication, visualization & storytelling with data skills to both scientific and business audiences.
  • Attention to detail - you are methodical and thorough in your analyses (problem statement, data discovery to result communication).
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Good understanding of Growth Media Channels (Display, Search, Social) is a nice to have
  • Good understanding of web/app attribution models.
  • Good understanding with Google Analytics and MMPs.
  • Understanding of tagging best practices and CDP platforms.
