You will drive SMB sales (Small and Medium Business) through our shareholder banks across the assigned regional markets, to ensure meeting pre-set yearly targets. The regional sales targets include net new merchant targets, cross-sell to existing merchants targets, and an overall revenue target. This role is a merchant facing role and will require the Sales Consultant to spend multiple days throughout the week at assigned BMO/RBC bank locations to build relations with the bankers, educate them on Moneris solutions, and prospect & sign-up new clients. The Regional Sales Consultant will build knowledge of the various Moneris solutions and will gain an understanding of customers' wants and needs and match them to Moneris' various payment solutions. As a sales consultant, you will also work with cross-functional teams across Moneris to move the opportunity through the sales funnel, ending in a successful sale.
Location: You will be based in our Burnaby office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to Manager, Regional Sales.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $57,000-$80,000.
Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
Manage client relationships from pre-sales through to post-sales set-up and integration.
Develop business relationships with assigned accounts and help create proposals and presentations targeted at solving the needs of prospects and existing clients.
Achieve and maximize card manufacturing revenues target.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms and conditions to ensure pricing and terms reflect the achievement of corporate goals.
Provide input to Marketing and Product Development on important products and initiatives to close gaps in current product offering and in current client segment.
Drive execution for customer acquisition, speed-to-market, ease of integration, and service levels. Create forecasts, sales reports, and ongoing status reports.
Ensure and educate on compliance, operating procedures and payment industry trends to the sales team and clients.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of strategic sales or account management or business development experience with a record of accomplishment with excellent sales results customer conversion and retention in a demanding fast-paced complex environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows/ MS Office Applications.
Must be fluently bilingual in English and French (reading, speaking and writing).
Must have a valid driver's license.
