The Mission Strategy & Capture Support Analyst will support KBR’s Civil Space capture and business development activities, with a primary focus on NASA programs. This role provides hands-on exposure to Shipley-aligned capture processes, early opportunity shaping, and proposal development while leveraging the candidate’s background in engineering, international affairs, and complex program environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support capture managers and business development leads throughout the pre-capture and capture lifecycle, in alignment with Shipley best practices
• Conduct customer, mission, and requirements analysis for NASA and Civil Space opportunities
• Assist in development of win themes, discriminators, and value propositions tailored to NASA mission directorates
• Perform competitive intelligence and market research, including analysis of incumbents, teammates, and solution gaps
• Translate technical concepts and engineering solutions into clear capture artifacts and proposal inputs
• Support preparation of capture plans, gate reviews, and proposal outlines
• Coordinate inputs across engineering, operations, pricing, and proposal teams
• Contribute to international and interagency considerations relevant to NASA missions, partnerships, and policy constraints

SkillBridge Learning Objectives

• Learn KBR’s Shipley-aligned capture governance and gate process
• Gain exposure to NASA acquisition strategies and procurement culture
• Develop capture artifacts including customer profiles, solution summaries, and competitive assessments
• Participate in proposal development activities for Civil Space pursuits
