The Kaiseraugst production site is a cornerstone of Roche's global production and logistics network. Over 1900 people are employed here and the site is home to Roche's largest and most innovative packaging operation in the world. MSAT is responsible for Introduction of New Products (Technical transfers) and Implementation of New Technologies on our manufacturing site in Kaiseraugst.
The Launch Lead in the MSAT organization is an individual contributor position, which serves as a project lead for new product launches, site to site transfers, CAPEX projects, technical investments, divestments and other projects.
Responsible for planning and execution of tech transfers, CAPEX, and other projects across various technologies (biologic DP, FG, small molecule FG, combination products) in collaboration with local and global partners.
Own key project milestones and lead local project teams while acting as a team player in global teams.
Work collaboratively as a servant leader to facilitate decisions, prioritize critical issues, and manage information in project teams.
Handle resource and budget planning, support sourcing decisions, and manage site selection processes for projects.
Act as a site transfer lead for new product launches, ensuring smooth transitions and proactive communication with local and global partners.
Oversee change controls, develop validation strategies with partners, and focus on industrialization aspects in tech transfers and new technology implementations.
Strive to improve project timelines, reduce costs, and establish lean processes by applying agile principles, technology advances, and leveraging LPS methodology.
Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and develop multi-year strategies in DP and FG Technologies with strong enterprise mindset, business, and financial acumen.
Experience navigating and influencing global PT and Roche cultures, utilizing agile methodologies, and collaborating with senior partners such as Manufacturing Unit Leads and Site Heads.
Solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on governance, sustainability, communication, engagement best practices, and the right to operate.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant bio/pharma experience, including cross-functional management, a BS/BA degree in life sciences or engineering, and favorable advanced degrees like an MBA.
In-depth practical experience in safety, quality systems, quality assurance, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and proven analytical skills to meet performance metrics and ensure project success.
You possess full professional fluency in both English and German.
The global grade range for this position is between SE6 and SE7, based on the candidates profile.
