As Site Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for driving key initiatives and projects in the Local Procurement area, across multiple categories of spend and cross functionally across the wider GSK business, to ensure the delivery of key business objectives and benefits.

Key responsibilities
Strategy & stakeholder management
Support development and delivery of local procurement plans aligned to site objectives and global category strategies
Represent procurement for site stakeholders, balancing operational needs with procurement governance
Translate global category strategies into local implementation plans and drive adoption
Procurement operations & supplier management
Own local category sourcing and supplier lifecycle (selection, qualification, onboarding, performance management)
Lead competitive sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, and contract management for assigned categories
Drive supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost, innovation) and resolve supply interruptions quickly
Contracts, compliance & risk
Draft, negotiate and manage contracts; ensure compliance with GSK policies, TPRM and regulatory requirements
Proactively identify and mitigate supply-chain risks, including single-source and critical suppliers
Maintain required procurement documentation and audit readiness
Continuous improvement & systems
Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives (end-to-end total cost reduction)
Use procurement tools and data (SAP, Power BI or equivalent) to deliver insights and reporting
Support digital adoption and automation opportunities, including safe, appropriate use of AI tools
Collaboration & leadership
Coordinate cross-functional activity across matrixed teams and remote procurement colleagues
Coach and influence internal stakeholders to embed procurement best-practice
Support vendor development and business continuity planning
Success measures
% of on-time supplier deliveries for Key suppliers
Purchase Price Variance (PPV) / Year-on-year cost reduction / Operational Expenditure (Opex) savings for assigned categories
Contract coverage and TPRM (Third Party Risk Management) compliance rate for site spend
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree (Science, Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent).
3–5 years operational procurement or supply chain experience across multiple categories, with exposure to regulated environments preferred.
Direct experience leading procurement for site-level spend (direct or indirect).
Practical skills in sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, supplier review and development.
Strong stakeholder management, written/verbal communication (fluent English), and change implementation experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Experience with SAP, Power BI and modern procurement tools; willingness to adopt AI.
Continuous Improvement training (CI, Lean, Six Sigma).
Experience with cost benchmarking, supplier audits and contracting in regulated sectors.
Strong influencing skills across geographies and functions.
