Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) – Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Consultant with 7–9 years of hands‑on expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting IBP processes. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of end‑to‑end S&OP cycles, deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts, and proven experience in delivering IBP projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Implementation

  • Lead SAP IBP S&OP module design workshops, requirement gathering, and process mapping.
  • Configure and deploy IBP templates including:
    • Demand Planning
    • Supply Planning
    • Inventory Optimization (optional)
    • Consensus Demand & S&OP cycles
  • Design and manage Time Series and Order-based planning objects.
  • Align business processes with IBP functionalities including:
    • Consensus planning
    • Scenario planning
    • Executive S&OP
    • KPI & dashboard definition

2. Integration & Data Management

  • Work with SAP CPI / CI‑DS teams for:
    • Integration with ECC / S4HANA (Master Data & Transaction Data)
    • Real-time integration via IBP OData services
  • Support data modeling, data validation, and master data harmonization.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate cross-functional resolution.

3. Business Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to:
    • Understand planning cycles
    • Define planning levels and horizons
    • Implement process improvements within IBP
  • Facilitate S&OP cycle adoption and change management.

4. Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and optimize:
    • Dashboards using IBP Analytics
    • KPI-based planning views
    • Supply-demand reconciliation views
  • Provide insights to leadership on plan accuracy and process performance.

5. Testing, Training & Support

  • Lead UAT, SIT, and cutover activities.
  • Prepare training documents and deliver end-user training sessions.
  • Provide hypercare support post go‑live.
