The Site Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring the successful launch and ongoing success of Zipline’s commercial operations. The team defines commercial workflows and compliance processes, tests and validates new features and procedures at test sites and partner sites, creates training materials and onboarding playbooks, and identifies and addresses operational gaps to deliver a smooth and successful P2 experience for all commercial operations. The Site Operations team is deeply knowledgeable in every step of the process from order placed to successful delivery, and works with internal and external partners to optimize the experience for operators and customers.
We build the processes against which our teams and our Partners’ teams will execute operating the Zipline Network.
Site Ops team members work across all Zipline partner verticals and test sites. Site launch, training, and ownership will be determined by a combination of partner type and location.
As Project Manager on the Site Operations team you will focus on designing, optimizing, and maintaining the workflows that enable seamless partner onboarding, integration, and ongoing operations. Your primary role will be to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance while aligning with the team’s mission of delivering exceptional partner experiences.
What You'll Do
Our internships are full-time positions, in-person at our South San Francisco or Dallas office. We will host our Summer 2026 interns from May or June to August.
Candidates are limited to three (3) applications within a 30-day period.
The starting cash range for this internship is $32 - 36/ hour. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for each role may also include: a housing stipend; overtime pay; relocation support; paid sick time; and more.
